Know Before You Throw is an illustrated poster meant to help Philadelphia residents decide what to recycle and what to throw away.
I designed this poster during my time with the Philadelphia Water Department. After designing it, I screen-printed a limited edition of the poster to be displayed at PWD's river cleanups and educational events. Bright colors, lively illustrations, and texture were used to give the initiative/poster a unique look and feel, while still complimenting PWD's existing brand collateral.
